“I get to be the authentication police, in a weird way,” Reynolds said to MTV in an interview about “The Proposal”. “To their credit they want to make an authentic Deadpool movie. They want to make it as close to the source material as possible” he said when talking about the studio. Reynolds also said that he and the studio have already agreed to some important things. “He’s going to be the Merc with the Mouth, we’re going to give all those answers that everyone wants. O.K. so Ryan Reynolds just became one of my biggest heroes, that is if he is not just talking and they actually do this right. Wolverine was horrible and ruined two of my favorite comic characters: Deadpool and Gambit. If Reynolds wants to lead the comic crusade of “lets do these movies right” then I’m with him. I’m also hoping that the studios will wake up and see that The Dark Knight was good because it was well written and think “that will make us money we should do that.” Well, a guy can hope.
