(500) Days of Summer could easily be my favorite film of the year. The reason I say that, is not since High Fidelity have I felt so connected to a movie about a relationship, I almost said love there and as we all know from the tag line this is not a love story.
(500) Days of Summer is the story of the relationship of Tom and Summer through a beautiful narration followed by a unique chronological order we get a glimpse into their lives. Tom first meets Summer as she is introduced as the secretary at his job. Tom works as a greeting...

The Answer Man is the story of Arlen Faber (Jeff Daniels), a man that talked to God and wrote a book about it. In his book, Me and GOD, Arlen answered all of life’s mysteries and then became one himself, hiding for 20 years to avoid as many people as possible. Arlen’s life as a hermit is interrupted when he meets two very different people: one Kris Lucas (Lou Taylor Pucci), a book store owner and recovering alcoholic; the other Elizabeth (Lauren Graham), an overprotective single mother. They all share things in common...

I have to admit at the start of of this season I thought it was going to be all about how Vince (Arian Grenier) was losing his best friends but, as it turns out I was wrong. The show seems to be taking a new direction and delving more into the lives of the Entourage than ever before. In this episode One Car, Two Car, Red Car, Blue Car we follow Turtle on his birthday as he tries to decide what he needs to do to become his own man. Though it was Turtle’s (Jerry Ferrara) birthday, Eric (Kevin Connolly) needed to look deeper...

Gary Oldman, during a “Book of Eli” round table at Comic Con stated that “The next Batman is next year. We start shooting next year.” This news sounds like a repeat of the Michael Caine news where he talked about who was going to be in the next film. I really can’t get excited until we hear the words from the man himself Chris Noland, …

From the trailers for this film, I simply thought, ‘Chick Flick’ and predictable. I figured I would enjoy it, but be a few steps ahead the whole time. I was shockingly surprised at the direction this film took. The Ugly Truth is a romantic comedy of sorts starring Gerard Butler as Mike and Kathrine Heigl as Abby. She is a bit of an anal retentive producer on a boring morning T.V. show where ratings are going downhill and she is looking for love with unrealistic expectations, and he hosts his own late night public...

When I went to see The Hurt Locker, I wasn’t sure what to expect. With predecessors like Stoploss and In the Valley of Elah, it seemed that perhaps writers, directors, and America just weren’t ready for movies about a war that isn’t over yet. Within the first few minutes though, director Kathryn Bigelow blew all my reservations out of the water with a gutsy film that has extensive opportunities for Oscar nominations. …

Official viral news on the ‘interwebs’ today is that Sam Raimi has signed on to do a film adaptation of the compulsively obsessive PC game, World Of Warcraft or WOW for short.
For those of you who still value your lives in the real world and don’t know what this game is, it is a massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG.) The game came out in 1994 and now sabotages the lives of 11.5 million suckers every month. …
