Gary Oldman, during a “Book of Eli” round table at Comic Con stated that “The next Batman is next year. We start shooting next year.” This news sounds like a repeat of the Michael Caine news where he talked about who was going to be in the next film. I really can’t get excited until we hear the words from the man himself Chris Noland, that the next movie is a go and that he is excited about it. All the news coming out of the Noland camp doesn’t seem as promising, and sounds like he is being forced into the next film. As we know though, all of this is just rumor and speculation and I won’t hold my breath until I hear anything official about the next film, though I hope all the rumors turn out true.
