So this week’s episode opens at Sookie’s house. Tara’s birthday party is still goin’ strong thanks to Maryann, and Daphne decides to take Sam out into the woods. She had just told him that she knew what he was, so he was completely flabbergasted when she begins taking her clothes off in the woods before turning into a deer. Apparently she is a shifter too, but whether she has always been one or she was given this ability in connection to the disgustingly huge scars on her back is yet to be told....

Just a couple notes about the episode. First off I messed up when talking about Akira and WB killed that movie not Universal, just getting that out of the way before I get flamed. Let us know what you think and if you like this, because if you do we will make more. Any previews new, old or odd that you think we should check out just leave a comment and let us know.

For six long seasons, I have waited and waited for the whole gang to walk the red carpet at the Chinese theater and for it to really mean something. That finally happens here, for Vinny’s premiere of his new Scorsese film. This anticipation is building from the start from E moving into his new pad and Sloan stopping by and the introduction of Ashley, the new neighbor girl crushing on E, (and more in his height range.) …

Well, Las Vegas is a town that I never thought I would enjoy visiting, because I don’t really gamble at all. Much to my surprise, there is so much to do in this small town, that I left with a laundry list of things I wanted to do, and never got around to doing. …

Sunday night was the night that one of the best shows on television had its season six debut. I know its one of the best shows on television because its on HBO.
Entourage started out as it always does on a good note and right after the wrap of a movie and this go around it’s not only Vince (Adrian Grenier) that is successful. …

Welcome to the first edition of Lost in Previews where we take a look at trailers for upcoming films.
First up is the trailer for the Neil Blomkamp directed District 9.
Neil’s name first hit my radar back in 2007 when it was announced that he would be directing the big screen adaptation of the video game Halo to be produced by Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson. Plans for that film fizzled shortly after due to mounting budget concerns. I was a little let down as several of Blomkamp’s short films held quite a...

Love potions, quidditch, a unique textbook, and teenage heartache are just a few of the ingredients that make up the bubbling brew that is J.K. Rowling’s sixth installment of box office gold: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Be warned though, if you go and buy a ticket to see this, then you have just bought tickets to the next two films. This movie is inexcusably geared at getting butts in the seats for the last hoorah of this magical saga. …

Hey all you Trubies out there, I still can’t believe HBO made us wait 2 weeks for this episode. It really burns me when shows do that, but hey, it’s True Blood, I can’t stay mad at it. This week’s episode gave us a couple of expected answers, but was mostly a building block for the rest of the season.
This episode starts with Jason walking into his dark dorm room to see the bodies of his fellow recruits strewn around the place dead and covered in blood. A shadowy figure attacks him from behind and...

Forget the absurdity of Scrubs. Erase the McDreamies of ER and Grey’s Anatomy from your mind. If you want to experience a more refreshing perspective on life in the emergency room, search no more.
This series follows Jackie Peyton (Edie Falco) and her plausible but not exactly typical life as a veteran ER nurse. Jackie has one foot on either side of that fine line between being a seasoned nurse and being a bitter one. …

From ‘Tragic Kingdom’ to Magic Kingdom, No Doubt brought fun to Starlight Theater Monday night.
Things got under way shortly after 7:30 when Bedoin Soundclash brought their So Cal Ska/Punk flavored sounds to the stage to warm up the predominately female and age diverse crowd. While many were still finding their seats it set the tone for what would be a laid back fun time on an atypically cool July night.
Once Bedoin Soundclash completed their set the the female front woman of Paramore Hayley Williams
All eyes were...

In a world of secrecy, corruption and injustice, a single courageous voice can tell a true story that changes everything.
This is what lies at the heart of the emotionally charged experience of ‘The Stoning of Soraya M.’ Based on an incredible true story, this powerful tale of a village’s persecution of an innocent woman becomes both a daring act of witness and a compelling parable about mob rule. Who will join forces with the plot against her, who will surrender to the mob, and who will dare to stand up for...

“I Love You Beth Cooper” may not be original in any way but, what it lacks in originality, it makes up in heart.
The story of Cooper is simple, Denis Cooverman (Paul Rust) is the smartest kid in his school and during his valedictorian speech he decides that he will let everyone know what he thinks of them. The main focus of this honest view of his peers is Beth Cooper (Hayden Panettiere). As Denis proclaims his love for his dream girl, her older coke-head muscle-bound boy friend is having thoughts of homicide. …

With sexual acts that no one should have to see being performed in the first ten minutes, you will soon realize what a squirmish and jaw-dropping ride you are in for.

When I started watching True Blood last year, it quickly became a guilty pleasure of mine. I mean, it’s a little embarrassing to tell someone that your favorite TV show is about sexy vampires, a shape-shifter, and a telepathic waitress. It wasn’t until the second season premier that I realized there was nothing to feel ‘guilty’ about, considering I was one of 5.1 million viewers to tune into HBO to get their fix. …
