Inception Trailer 1!
The first “full” trailer for Inception debuted today on the internet. A French version popped up last week, but disappeared courtesy of Warner Brothers. If you have seen Sherlock Holmes, then you have already seen this trailer. The trailer itself is only a minute long, but gives us a few more images than the teaser trailer. Does it give away more of the plot? Somewhat, but this seems to be a trippy, weird movie, so I don’t think anyone is very clear on what is happening in this movie.
We still have that creepy, yet awesome music in the background, the same music as the teaser trailer. I love that music! We have a narration by Leonardo DiCaprio. The first really cool image is of buildings (in Paris, I think) peeling off the ground and rotating towards Ellen Page and Leo. We see Lucas Haas, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and a first look at Ken Watanabe. We also hear Ellen Page screaming “Wake me up!” so I wonder if some of this stuff occurs while they are asleep. Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight) writes and directs Inception. It currently has a release date of July 16, 2010. I also included the teaser trailer below the first trailer.
This is my second most anticipated movie of 2010. Can’t wait!
