Remember Chuck Norris? Well, he’s a girl scout compared to Dick Marcinko. “Demo Dick” was a real life American badass, doing tours in Vietnam as a Navy SEAL and then continued to lead two other Special Forces teams. Seriously, this guy was one mean motor scooter. You would think that a video game about this guy would be pretty entertaining; with such an awesome life, how could the game go wrong? Unfortunately, Rebellion Studios and Bethesda found a way.
I’ll let the games own description fill you in...

Toy Story and Pixar fans clear your Sunday evening schedules…maybe even the weekend.
I would normally include something like this in Lost in News but I don’t do those on the weekend and being the Disney Pixar geek that I am, had to get this up . It was announced today that a two minute first look at Toy Story 3 is set to premiere during ABC Families presentation of another Disney Pixar favorite The Incredibles this Sunday between 7:30-9:30 CT. The first look will feature an introduction by Toy Story 3 director (and...

Marc Lawrence has made a few decent romantic comedies in the past. He’s done Miss Congeniality, Two Weeks Notice, and Forces of Nature. They aren’t anything to write home about, but they are O.K. So going into this, I was expecting much of the same, and considering all the hype I’ve been hearing about Did You Hear About The Morgans, I allowed myself to hope this one would possibly do well and dish out the laughs.
Like many films this past year, this one really surprised me. Unfortunately, this time it...

With an estimated budget of $300 million for Avatar, the bar has certainly been set high. The concept for Avatar was created by James Cameron fourteen years ago when the technology did not yet exist to create the 3D cinema experience that Avatar has become. Cameron knew after seeing Gollum come to life on screen in The Lord of the Rings, that the technology was ready for his newest feature.
Although the story for Avatar is simple enough to grasp, it is rooted in all of the reality of today. It touches on war, the environment,...

Have you ever sat back and thought about cutting your ties with everything in your life and truly being free? This would mean that you have no spouse to come home to, no dog waiting to see you, and no gutters to clean out as the leaves start to fall. This is the kind of life Ryan Bingham (George Cloony) would like you to consider and also the life he lives, a life of single serving friends and front of the line frequent flier mile perks. Bingham’s life has been reduced to a carry on bag and he is fine with this.
Ryan Bingham...

The Golden Globe nominations seemed to steal most of the news head lines so today’s column will be pretty short in what I am dubbing weak Wednesday…
Another trailer for the Tim Burton directed Alice in Wonderland sprung up early this morning. (First...

I just want to remind everyone once more about our new writer, Mendie. She will be contributing some TV shows weekly. I have been following her blog, The Spectator for some time now and we think she will make a nice addition to Lost In Reviews.
They did it. Yeah that’s right they did it. After a shaky, uneven start they finally managed to put out a show that didn’t make me cringe. I know, I couldn’t believe it myself. I almost choked on the tea I was drinking. In fact I had to pause the show just so I could...

So, this powerhouse episode starts out by resolving the “Hello, Dexter Morgan” issue. Basically, Trinity tells Dex to back off or he’ll murder the crap out of him. Fair deal, I’d say. I would think that a serial killer would just end it after finding out who Dexter really is. So, Trinity leaves after the threat and Dexter tears after him, in hopes that he can catch him and get him on the table. Rita calls and asks about having their honeymoon, which gives Dex an excuse to make sure that she’s safe...
