This is the finale of Heroes season 3, I have had a love-hate relationship with this season and I feel the same way with this episode. It had some classic Heroes aspects that I have grown to love, and some of the bad traits that later Heroes seasons have picked up. One of the things I liked was how it started with the monotone narration of Dr. Suresh(Sendhil Ramamurthy). This was calming for me and it gave me the feeling that we were getting back on track. …

This was another classic and almost heart felt episode of the office. The episode started out with Michael (Steve Carell) going house to house to pick up his employees at 6am for paper deliveries. The deliveries are being made in an old gray van with Korean lettering on the side. We find out from Pam (Jenna Fischer) that the lettering translates to something along the lines of a church van and leads to the problem of old Korean ladies trying to get in to be taken to church. After that ,Ryan (Bj Novak) makes the suggestion that...

The Soloist is the story of Steve Lopez (Robert Downy Jr.) and Nathaniel Ayers (Jamie Foxx). Two men that meet by fate and end up needing each other in different ways. For Steve in the beginning it seems he just needs Nathaniel for a story. This need for a story is driven by a rash of staff writer firings at the LA Times. It just so happens that he finds this story in Nathaniel, a homeless musician with mental problems. For Nathaniel the need is different he just needs a friend, plain and simple.
As Steve writes about his new...

Being a girl, there really isn’t a lot of games that peak my interest for long periods of time. I’ll play a little “first person shooter” every now and then but I’m not into “R.P.G.s” (role-playing game), and I’m definitely not into the “MMO” games (massive multimedia online). Then these rhythm games come along and all of the sudden, everyone’s girlfriends and moms are taking over the Xbox 360.
Guitar Hero World Tour is the third installment from the franchise,...

If you have seen the first installment of Crank, then you have seen this movie. Just throw in a Godzilla-esk battle between two men in a power plant with claymation viewers. All I could think when I saw this was “yeah, that is happening, I rubbed my eyes and it was still there.” The basic story is Chev Chelios(Jason Statham) survived the fall from the helicopter and was abducted by the Triad to have his organs transplanted into their leader. His heart is removed and replaced with a mechanical one to keep him alive...

So there we were, Joe and I, in the BOK Center in Tulsa. We had decent seats, lower level, pretty much right in line with the stage. BOK Center is a shiny new penny, all curves and glass and reflective surfaces. On the outside it appeared much larger than the Sprint Center, on the inside it seemed to be about 2/3 the size of the Sprint Center. One area where they surpass the Sprint Center is in acoustics, the sound was flawless.
Right at 8:00 the lights went off, the choruses of “Bruuuuuuuuuuuuce” erupted as the band...

Cal McAffrey (Russell Crowe) is a seasoned reporter for the Washington Post who knows how to get the info he needs for his stories. He is working on a petty thief shooting case when another story breaks that a woman just died falling in front of a subway. That woman is the lead research assistant on a big case being headed by Congressman Stephen Collins (Ben Affleck). When newbie Della Frye (Rachel McAdams) for the Washington Post Blog introduces herself and asks McAffrey for an opinion on Collins, he makes it clear that he wants...

“That guy really has an ego” as Sylar said about himself when he was someone else. If that sentence doesn’t encompass this whole episode, I don’t know what does. This was another great Sylar episode and we needed another one of those this season. After the last episode, I was about to give up on this show but then “they pulled me right back in.” Following Sylar around as he tries to find out who he is and what he has become was so fulfilling. …

Out of control laughter from beginning to end! Zack and Miri are two lifelong high school friends who must make an adult film to pay the rent of their apartment. They get the idea for their movie after Zach (Seth Rogen) meets a gay porn star (Justin Long) and discovers Miri (Elizabeth Banks) has been put on Youtube wearing “granny panties” and is being watched by many. …
