Angela, John and Ryan sit down at Frans Diner and talk about Mel Gibson’s return to the action genre in The Edge of Darkness. Gibson plays Thomas Craven, a Boston detective whose 24 year old daughter is murdered on the steps of his home. We all know what that means; it’s time to kick some ass and get “Payback” for what was “Taken” from him. Check out the video review and leave some comments below.

As a guy it’s tough when I draw the occasional odd film pick to review. The latest example of such? When in Rome. Starring Kristen Bell, better known to many as Veronica Mars, the show she starred in and picked up a pretty decent following from. Thus far in her career, she has built up a pretty decent body of work. She hasn’t yet taken the easy way out, or at least as far as I can recall. Sure some may argue that last year’s Couples Retreat was a bit of a miss, but she surrounds her self with good talent when...

Alright, so after a stellar season premiere of Big Love, they decide to back it up with a slow, and pretty boring second episode, “The Greater Good.” Pretty much the only interesting thing in that episode was Sarah getting married in the backyard to her boyfriend. The third episode, however, really brought their shit with “Strange Bedfellows” as the name of the episode implies, it was pretty obvious they were talking about Alby. Lots of stuff occurred in this episode and starting with the weirdest is Alby...

I usually stay away from the Lost in Previews thing and leave all that up to the wonderful Sarah. This time I just couldn’t wait to share this trailer with you, mostly because it cracked me up! I’m not sure if this will turn out to be another Step Brothers, it looks like it could go that direction, but I’m excited none the less. Enjoy the trailer for Cyrus starring John C. Reilly and Jonah Hill.

I have never read any of the Wimpy Kid book series by Jeff Kinney(I did figure out that they are illustrated), but they are like Twilight for kids. So of course, 20th Century Fox wanted to make a movie version. From what I gather, it follows a kid named Greg as he enters middle school and all the trials and tribulations that go along with that. We’ve all been there. The trailer is very promising and has a wide range of talent both from established actors to those getting their first big break. Chloe Moretz (500...

A lot of people are out there saying that Crazy Heart is a resurrection of Jeff Bridges’ career. This just makes me wonder where they have been because Bridges has always been this good. I guess they missed the indie hit Iron Man or the summer blockbuster The Door in the Floor. I have been a huge fan of Bridges since my mom sat me down and made me watch Star Man and then again when I saw The Big Lebowski. Since that time he has always been at the top of my favorite actor list and I let people know that I abide when I adorn...
