Just when you thought it was safe to accidentally say I love you, you get a mocking comment and a door thrown in your face. Damn Denise sure can be cold and angry when she wants to be. But in all fairness Drew did know how closed she was to human emotions when he started schtupping her so really the blames on him. Or is it? Ok yes he should have told her about his means-nothing-to-me-mistake-of-marriage and yes choosing to say I love you over a breakfast of icing is probably not the most ideal time but come on, most truthful...

What a great title for this week’s episode don’t you think? Yeah I thought so too. So thanks to a not so clever preview for this week’s episode we were already aware that Captain Awesome was not killed by freaky killer with syringe (this show has a thing for big ass needles) but as we learned on Monday he was kidnapped by the gorgeous Angie Harmon. Man this guy has all the luck. Figuratively speaking of course. Although considering that he was mistaken for Chuck and not Devon “Doctor Extraordinaire”...

I was surprised to hear that The Book of Eli was not based off of a graphic novel, as it seems that Hollywood has sunk their teeth into the comics section lately. Although, after seeing the film, I would not have thought so anyway, as it seems to take a far turn to the right instead of staying left like most comics and graphic novels do. Still surprisingly though, I liked it.
I hate to say that, with the plot line and all of the impossible situations glaring me in the face, but I went in expecting to hate it (mainly because...

Would you ever suspect that you would love a film by a fashion designer turned first time director? I didn’t quite know what to expect from Tom Ford as he told his version of the book, A Single Man by Christopher Isherwood. I knew from the trailer that everyone was going to look their very best, but not much more until I sat down to watch it.
A Single Man is the story of George, an English professor in 1962 that has recently lost his partner of 16 years to a car accident. With the disapproving family not allowing him to...

The movie The Lovely Bones is based on the novel of the same name by Alice Sebold. The movie is directed by Peter Jackson and adapted to the screen by Phillipa Boyens, Peter Jackson, and Fran Walsh. This is the same team that brought the Lord of the Rings trilogy and King Kong to the big screen. It’s safe to say that expectations were high going into the movie just based on who made it. I read the novel as soon as I found out that Peter Jackson was making the movie. For those who have read the novel or even just seen...

So when they said that JD was leaving the hospital they didn’t actually mean that he was leaving the show because once again he shows up in all his quirky gloriousness. But unlike previous times he managed to slip in with very little fan fare. Which if you ask me was a better way to go about it. The whole JD’s leaving emotional punch was starting to wear thin. In previous episodes whenever JD was around it felt as though it was the Scrubs 1.0 trying to be Scrubs 2.0 and it just didn’t work. How were we supposed...

One of two things will happen when I am recapping or reviewing a show; I either become so engrossed in getting the finer points of the action that is taking place that I forget to watch the show (that actually happens a lot) or I become so engrossed in the show that I forget to take any notes and my recap is full of holes. Neither happened with Chuck. I was able to take notes and enjoy the show. In fact I enjoyed it so much that I wondered if perhaps I didn’t know how to look at the show from a critical point of view. ...

*SPOILERS* The long awaited fourth season of Big Love has finally returned. Now that the holidays are finally wrapped up, we can finally get back to the families we know and love, on tv of course. With the opening credits of Big Love I was thrust into what was to be a new world with the new song and opening from now on. Instead of the lovely foursome skating on dangerous ice with a happy love song, we now watch them all falling very gracefully, but still scared looking and in beautiful HD too! Could it be that they switched the...

Well I am either about to embark on a great viewing adventure or will spend the next 19 episodes begging for someone to gauge my eyes out with a spoon. I wanted to start my first Chuck posting a little differently for one simple reason (don’t worry recaps will begin with the next new episode), I have no idea what this show is about. No I mean it. In the past 2 seasons I have seen a total of 4 episodes. So when I say that I have no idea what is going on, I really have no idea. From the little I have been able to gather,...

Lost In Reviews is based out of Kansas City, and we are looking for someone to help us get the local music scene covered. We are looking for someone who loves music and writing about it. Someone who can clearly define what a sound is before there is a name for it and someone who loves to get out and discover new music.
If you are interested in joining our crew, we will need you to send us a review you have written before for a band, so we can see your style.
FYI: you will not be paid for this, your love of writing and listening...

So . . . if you hadn’t heard, they are making an A-Team movie. I am not a big fan of TV remakes, but when the first photo popped up for this movie . . . just tell me if you could guess that that is Liam Neeson in that picture. Liam Neeson plays Col. John “Hannibal” Smith, Bradley Cooper plays Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, Sharlto Copley plays Capt. “Howling Mad” Murdock, and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson plays Sgt. Bosco “B.A.” Baracus. Jessica Biel and Patrick...

Oh it is starting to feel like old times. Watch a show, stay up all night just to write the recap. I missed these all night cram sessions. And thanks to Hulu (I love saying Hulu) I was able to watch Our Couples, relatively a minor discomfort. Long story you don’t want to know, trust me. I have to tell you class that I am starting to get a little worried about our show here. Oh not because it is a bad show. Quite the opposite. For the second time in a row I found myself liking the show. I had thought...

The plot is centered around Nick Twisp (Michael Cera), an undersexed teen who’s hellbent on earning the love of Sheeni Saunders (Portia Doubleday). He meets her in a trailer park while on vacation, immediately being captivated by her intelligence and good looks. Twisp begins completing as much mischief as possible, so that his mother (Jean Smart) will kick him out and send him to live with his father (Steve Buscemi) who is close to Sheeni. In order to do these acts, Nick creates his smoking, bad boy alter ego, Francois....
