Legend of the Guardians Trailer

Let me just say right off the bat that this trailer is friggin’ beautiful and amazing.  Legend of the Guardians is an animated movie directed by Zach Snyder who was responsible for Watchmen (another brilliant trailer).  The trailer points out that the story is based on the novels “The Guardians of Ga’hoole.”  There is one voice I could pick out immediately, Hugo Weaving.  He is in good company with Emilie de Ravin (Lost), Abbie Cornish (Bright Star), Geoffrey Rush, Helen Mirren, Jim Sturgess (Across the Universe), Sam Neill, Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), and David Wenham (Lord of the Rings).  The imagery in the trailer is fantastic.  When a trailer makes you super excited to see the movie, you know the trailer has done its job.  This is the first one like that for me for 2010. Legend of the Guardians comes to theatres (and in 3D) September 24, 2010.  Oh, and the background music is “Kings and Queens” by 30 Seconds to Mars.  Let me know if you agree with me (and please watch it in HD).

    I think this looks GREAT! I love owls, who doesn't? They made their eyes look so good! It's going to be a good one, not sure if the 3D is needed though.

    Ugh! It's Lord of the Rings with owls! It even has two Lord of the Rings actors. Who cares how good it looks, and I couldn't stand another note of that music after just 2 minutes. Blech.

    I'm a fan of Zach Snyder. I think this release will make him a totally different director. It was filmed beautifully. And the music was different. Meant to inspire and give hope. Which it seem some really don't have much these days…at all. Its going to be a good film. If not a great one for both adults and children. Nice catch Sarah…

    Wow, so coll! The spirit grasps in some moments :)
