Lost in Previews Round Up #6

It has been a while since I posted one of my Round Up compilations of trailers, so I thought I would do some smaller trailer posts as to not overload you in a mass post.  I was going to do a mass post, but the procrastinator in me knows that will take me forever. I won’t be as detailed with my little write-ups of each trailer for the next few Lost in Previews, but I definitely wanted to have these trailers available for our lovely followers to enjoy.

In this edition of Lost in Previews, we have the trailers for The Expendables, Resident Evil: Afterlife, and Splice.

THE EXPENDABLES!  Why is that in caps?  Because of the awesomeness of everyone who is in this movie.  I can probably bet money that every guy in America is going to see this movie.  I usually don’t like these type of movies, but because of said awesomeness, I will see this one.  Could this be Stallone’s comeback?  Possibly.  I won’t spoil who is in this movie before you watch the trailer.  Prepare yourself.  The Expendables comes to theatres August 13, 2010.

Resident Evil: Afterlife is the fourth movie in the Resident Evil franchise.  This series is based on the Resident Evil video game.  Milla Jovovich is the star and is in all four movies.  I have never seen any of the first three movies in its entirety, only small bits when they are on TV.  I know there are quite a few fans of the game and the movies.  Why another movie?  I don’t know, but HELLO!  The trailer is awesome!  The movie was shot using the Fusion Camera System which are the same cameras that James Cameron pioneered and used for Avatar.  Yes, it’s in 3D, but it is the good 3D, not Clash of the Titans 3D.  The images are so clear.  Watch the trailer in HD.  Ali Larter and Wentworth Miller round out the cast.  Resident Evil: Afterlife comes to theatres September 10, 2010.

I just came across the trailer for Splice a couple days ago.  Interesting concept based on human cloning gone wrong.  I think the trailer gives a little too much away, but I don’t know how widely this movie is going to be shown.  It’s not a movie I have heard anything about previous to the trailer coming out.  It has a Species vibe to it.  Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley star (did anyone watch her in the Ramona series on PBS? Old school).  Splice comes to theatres June 4, 2010.
