Blu Monday: Showgirls Meets Air Bud

This week on Blu Monday we take a look at Tuesday June 15th’s DVD and Blu Ray releases: The Book of Eli, Showgirls: 15th Anniversary Sinsational Edition, When in Rome, Air Bud World Pup: Special Edition, and Secret Life of the American Teenager Volume 4.

Video Review Summary:

The Book of Eli: RENT IT. A solid Blu Ray release packed with special features, but the overall film is just not that good.

When in Rome: RENT IT. A funny rom-com and overall average movie. What holds this Blu Ray release back is a lack of special features. Though it does have a behind the scenes and blooper reel, there is nothing special about the content.

Showgirls: A surprise BUY IT! Showgirls may as well be one of the worst films ever made but the studios realization of this by adding a Roast commentary track makes this one of the best Blu Ray releases ever!

Air Bud Wold Pup: BUY IT. Though not a strong recommendation and definitely not any kind of recommendation to those of you with out kids. If you do have children the overall cuteness of the film makes it worth the money.

Secret Life of the American Teenager Volume 4: BURN IT. The overall quality of the show is just not there and a lack of any special features makes this collection of episodes a definite pass.

The Book of Eli, Showgirls: 15th Anniversary Sinsational Edition, When in Rome, Air Bud World Pup: Special Edition, and Secret Life of the American Teenager.
