E3 2010 Brink and Powergig

Lost In Reviews got a hands on demo with Bethesda’s new title “Brink” as well as trying out Seven 45′s new music game “Powergig: Rise of the Six String”.

Brink is a fast paced first-person shooter, which uses a class based system of abilities. Although, it’s not quite as restrictive a class system like “Team Fortress 2″, it’s much looser and easier to switch around. It’s something that we’ve been looking forward to since we arrived at E3 and the demo we were shown did not disappoint.

Powergig: Rise of the Six String is a new music game that uses an actual guitar to create a realistic playing experience, while keeping the gameplay fun and interesting. Unfortunately, nothing quite works like it should. Maybe they just need time, but it seemed like “Rock Band 3″ had their new guitars worked out pretty well.
