Lost in Previews: The Company Men

The Company Men is a movie that I am surprised has not been made before this.  The movie follows a man who gets fired from his business job and has to make ends meet by working construction for his brother-in-law.  Or that is at least what I gathered from the trailer.  The synopsis on IMDB says that it’s a movie that follows

“. . . a year in the life of three men trying to survive a round of corporate downsizing at a major company – and how that affects them, their families, and their communities.”

A pretty basic movie, but it will resound with a lot of people who have or are going through the same thing in this great economy of ours.  The trailer is well done.  The Company Men boasts a hefty cast made up of Ben Affleck, Tommy Lee Jones, Chris Cooper, Maria Bello, Kevin Costner, Craig T. Nelson, and Rosemarie DeWitt.

The Company Men is in theatres October 22, 2010.
