Lost in Previews: Let Me In Red Band and Full Trailers (and Posters)

Below are the first full trailer and the red band trailer for Let Me In.  The teaser was pretty good and these two trailers are about the same but no music, a longer runtime, and some more scenes.  The red band trailer has couple of non-PG visuals and an added scene at the end of the trailer.  These come courtesy of San Diego Comic Con as with all of the trailers I am posting today.

There are also two new posters that are both really good (see below).

Let Me In is the American remake of the Swedish film Let the Right One In.  The original film has a lot of fans, but I have yet to see it.  The basic storyline is that a boy is being bullied until he befriends a girl who turns out to be a vampire.  She becomes his protector.  Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Road) plays Owen (Sweden’s Oskar) and Chloe Moretz (Kick-Ass) plays vampire Abby (Sweden’s Eli).   Richard Jenkins (The Visitor) and Elias Koteas (The Fourth Kind) also stars.  The international teaser debuted today and the trailer is pretty good.  I do not think that the music is quite right for the trailer.  For a teaser trailer, it also shows too much of the film.

Let Me In is in theatres October 1, 2010.
