So . . . Lost in Reviews crashed. Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark teaser made it online a couple days ago, and you are getting it here a bit late. All I can say is that this trailer will be very effective in a dark movie theatre. Heck, it is effective on the computer screen in my brightly lit bedroom. I want to know what movies this teaser is running in front of because I just want to see the audience’s reaction. Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark is a remake of the 1973 TV movie. The screenplay is co-written by Guillermo del Toro, so it is safe to say this is going to be a decent flick. Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce, and Alan Dale star in the movie. Bailee Madison plays the little girl and she was absolutely fantastic in Brothers.
Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark is in theatres January 21, 2011.
