The teaser trailer for Skyline is a really well done movie trailer.  Although you don’t get to see any acting, the plot is revealed effectively with some really good effects.  Way to go, Dan Rather!  The synopsis is pretty succint:

In the sci-fi thriller Skyline, strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth.

The movie stars Eric Balfour, Donald Faison, David Zayas, and Brittany Daniel.  It’s not a stellar cast, but a full, theatrical trailer would be better to tell how good of a movie this will be.

Skyline is in theatres November 12, 2010.
