Lost in Previews: Battle: Los Angeles Teaser

Just as I was about to drift off to sleep, the trailer for Battle: Los Angeles came up on Apple Trailers.  Considering Skyline is about to come out, I have a feeling you may see this trailer attached to it.  This is another alien invasion movie with culminates in a war in Los Angeles.  Official Synopsis:

For years, there have been documented cases of UFO sightings around the world – Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany, China. But in 2011, what were once just sightings will become a terrifying reality when Earth is attacked by unknown forces. As people everywhere watch the world’s great cities fall, Los Angeles becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no one expected. It’s up to a Marine staff sergeant (Aaron Eckhart) and his new platoon to draw a line in the sand as they take on an enemy unlike any they’ve ever encountered before.

The music in the trailer creeps me out.  If you look closely, you can see one of the aliens emerge from a pool.  I am going to give my same opinion that I did with the Skyline teaser, it looks good with all of the effects, but I will wait until I actually hear some dialog.  Overall, this is a good trailer that I am sure will peak the interest of the viewers.

Battle: Los Angeles stars Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Ramon Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan, Ne-Yo, and Michael Peña.

Battle: Los Angeles is in theatres March 11, 2011.
