Love is a movie that has been in the works for a while and is finally looking like it will be making the film festival rounds this year. Love is written and directed by relative newcomer William Eubank and is produced by Angels and Airwaves (AVA) , Tom Delonge, and others. There is currently only one credited actor, Gunner Wright. The film is inspired by and features music by AVA. I am assuming some new music by AVA is going to result from the release of the film because the tracks that are in the trailer are not on the Love album or any others. The film looks to have a very independent/art film feel, but the trailer shows some beautiful cinematography and images. Hopefully, most of us will be able to see it in a theatre this year. Official Synopsis:
After losing contact with Earth, Astronaut LEE MILLER becomes stranded in orbit alone aboard the International Space Station. As time passes and life support systems dwindle, Lee battles to maintain his sanity – and simply stay alive. His world is a claustrophobic and lonely existence, until he makes a strange discovery aboard the ship. Driven by the powerful music of ANGELS and AIRWAVES, LOVE explores the fundamental human need for connection and the limitless power of hope… A high-impact visual adventure, that resonates a common truth, that everyone has a story to tell and something even greater to leave behind.
It is hard to find the IMDB page for the movie considering the general title, so here it is.
Love will make its premiere at the Santa Barbara Film Festival on February 2, 2011.
