Lost in Previews: A Better Life

A Better Life is director Chris Weitz’s (The Twilight Saga: New Moon, About a Boy) newest film.  It focuses on an illegal immigrant who works as a landscaper and wants a better life for his son.  The film stars Demián Bichir (Weeds) and José Julián as the father and son.  The film looks well done and worth seeing.   The trailer debuted on the LA Times website today.  Storyline:

A gardener in East L.A. struggles to keep his son away from gangs and immigration agents while traveling across town to perform landscaping work for the city’s wealthy landowners.

A Better Life does not currently have a release date.
