Lost in Previews: Disneynature’s Chimpanzee

Chimpanzee is Disneynature’s fourth nature documentary. Typically, when you see a Disneynature documentary in the theatre, they show a trailer for next year’s release.  If you see African Cats on Friday, you will see this trailer running before it.  I’m seeing it on Friday.  Are you?  Remember that with every ticket sold in the first week of release, a portion of the proceeds will go to the African Wildlife Foundation to help save the African savanna.

Chimpanzee follows an orphan chimp who is adopted by a male chimp.  The only kind of synopsis that has been released says, ” Follows a family of chimps living in tropical jungles of the Ivory Coast and Uganda.”  The trailer for the documentary gives you a better idea of what it is all about.

Chimpanzee will be released Earth Day 2012 (April 20, 2012).
