I have to love a studio that does not shy away from making a ruse trailer for a major movie. The first trailer for The Muppets is actually labelled as a trailer for Green With Envy, and you don’t realize until toward the end that it is actually for The Muppets. I LOVE Muppet movies, and it has been eleven years since the last one. I grew up seeing the show and the movies. I am so glad that Disney has made another one. Along with the staple of our star Muppets, Jason Segel, Amy Adams, and Chris Cooper star in this movie. Official Synopsis:
When Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater, they help Kermit reunite the Muppets to stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater.
The Muppets is in theatres November 23, 2011.
