Lost in Previews: “Drive” Red-band Trailer

Drive is a drama/thriller based on a novel by James Sallis.  The trailer was debuted at Comic Con, and now it is online.  This is a red-band trailer, so it is NSFW.  Director Nicolas Winding Refn won the Cannes award for Best Director this year for Drive.  The main character is played by Ryan Gosling and has an extensive supporting cast that includes Carey Mulligan, Albert Brooks, Bryan Cranston, Ron Perlman, Christina Hendricks, and Oscar Isaac.

It looks to be a violent movie with some killer car maneuvers.  And having Ryan Gosling in it helps as well.

“A Hollywood stunt performer who moonlights as a wheelman discovers that a contract has been put on him after a heist gone wrong.”

Drive is in theatres September 16, 2011.
