Lost in Previews: The Woman in Black

The Woman in Black is a horror/thriller film that stars everyone’s Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe.  This is Daniel’s first foray into films post-Harry Potter.  The trailer is excellent.  Who does not think toys coming to life spontaneously is not scary.  That woman in the window . . . well, I might not be seeing this by myself or at least any majority of the film since my eyes will be closed.  It looks to be a scary, well-done film.  Daniel Radcliffe looks very un-Harry Potter like, which is good.  The film also stars Ciarán Hinds (The Debt), Janet McTeer (Into The Storm), and Shaun Dooley (The Red Riding Trilogy).  The film is based on the 1983 novel by Susan Hill.

“A young lawyer (Radcliffe) travels to a remote village where he discovers the vengeful ghost of a scorned woman is terrorizing the locals.”

The  Woman in Black is in theatres February 3, 2012.
