If you follow Lost in Reviews then you know of Gobble Gobble (newly named Born Gold) and how much I love the band. I eagerly named them my favorite band of The SXSW Music Festival and have been waiting to see the band again ever since. Well that opportunity is here and I want to make sure to bring some friends. So, with that said Lost in Reviews is giving away tickets to the show on  09/14 in Lawrence, KS at Jackpot Saloon. Even if you don’t win you must not miss this show! GOBBLE GOBBLE has declared its evolution into Born Gold. Cecil Frena explains:

Cecil: “We have been slowly coaxing this caterpillar into a butterfly with our fists. Check it out, girl – a new face to fit both our past to date and the futuresex we are slowly growing into. Stand before a mirror, hold your palm over your right eye, and repeat Born Gold six times.” Born Gold’s debut LP Bodysongs, arriving September 20th, 2011 on Hovercraft / Crash Symbols, is a selected singles compilation of high-energy, futuristic noise-pop anthems recorded over the past couple years. Above is the first single from Bodysongs, “Alabaster Bodyworlds”. Limited to 300 on white vinyl, the record is available for pre-order. Born Gold will be touring extensively onBodysongs this fall.
