The first trailer for We Bought A Zoo is now online. I have not read the book the film is based on, but I am interested to see how this movie was done. This film is directed by Cameron Crowe and he also co-wrote the screenplay. The film boasts a great cast headlined by Matt Damon and costars Scarlett Johansson, Thomas Haden Church, Patrick Fugit, Elle Fanning, and John Michael Higgins. The song used in the beginning of the trailer is “Don’t Come Around Here No More” by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. The second song was used in the trailer for Disneynature’s Earth, but I have no clue whose song it is. I especially liked the part in the trailer where they are in the house and hear the lion begin to roar.
“This holiday season, acclaimed filmmaker Cameron Crowe (Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous) directs an amazing and true story about a single dad who decides his family needs a fresh start, so he and his two children move to the most unlikely of places: a zoo. With the help of an eclectic staff, and with many misadventures along the way, the family works to return the dilapidated zoo to its former wonder and glory.”
We Bought A Zoo is in theatres December 23, 2011.
