Lost in Previews: Goon Red-band Trailer

The basic premise of Goon is that a guy gets hired onto a minor league hockey team just for his fighting skills.  The film is actually based on the book Goon: The True Story of an Unlikely Journey into Minor League Hockey.  The film stars Seann William Scott, Jay Baruchel, Alison Pill, Eugene Levy and Liev Schreiber.  The screenplay was written Jay Baruchel and Evan Goldberg.  The trailer is NSFW due to language.

“Labeled an outcast by his brainy family, a bouncer overcomes long odds to lead a team of under performing misfits to semi-pro hockey glory, beating the crap out of everything that stands in his way.”

Goon is in theatres March 30, 2012 and will be available on-demand on February 24, 2012.
