Lost in Previews: Project X

These two trailers for Project X show you basically the most insane high school party you have ever seen.  At the center of it are three teens who are not that popular, but given that one’s parents are out of town, decide to throw a party that gets a little out of hand.  The film is really pushing that Todd Phillips, the director of The Hangover, is a producer of this film.  It looks to be an insane film, but we shall see if it appeals to more than the high school crowd.  The film stars Thomas Mann, Oliver Cooper, and Jonathan Daniel Brown and is directed by Nima Nourizadeh.

“”Project X” follows three seemingly anonymous high school seniors as they attempt to finally make a name for themselves. Their idea is innocent enough: let’s throw a party that no one will forget… but nothing could prepare them for this party. Word spreads quickly as dreams are ruined, records are blemished and legends are born. “Project X” is a warning to parents and police everywhere. This film has been rated R for crude and sexual content throughout, nudity, drugs, drinking, pervasive language, reckless behavior and mayhem-all involving teens.”

Project X is in theatres March 2, 2012.
