For me there is nothing more important than the battle for our digital freedom. Most would interpret that statement at face value, taking for granted the wonderful thing that is the internet. The truth is without groups like anonymous the digital plane would have a much different out look. The documentary  WE ARE LEGION: THE STORY OF THE HACKTIVISTS  sets out to tell the story about the rise of the digital “hacktivist” and has me brimming with excitement.  Check out the trailer for the documentary below and if you are attending this year’s SXSW make sure you add it to your schedule.

Synopsis: The film takes us inside radical “hacktivist” collective that has redefined civil disobedience for the digital age. The film explores early hacktivist groups like Cult of the Dead Cow and Electronic Disturbance Theater, then moves to Anonymous’ raucous beginnings on the website 4chan.
Through interviews with current members, people recently returned from prison or facing trial, writers, academics, activists and major players in various “raids,” the documentary traces Anonymous’ evolution from merry pranksters to a full-blown movement with a global reach, the most transformative civil disobedience of our time.

Well it could if you don't like the same bands or films he does, overall it might be best to avoid the subject all together.
