Since Killer Joe is one of my favorite films at SXSW what better way to celibrate than to give away a signed KILLER JOE poster! LD Entertainment provided us with the 27×40 teaser poster that was signed by Matthew McConaughey, Emile Hirsch, Gina Gershon, and writer Tracy Letts! If you haven’t read my review of the film I suggest you do and join in the excitement for KILLER JOE.
Synopsis:
When 22-year-old Chris (Emile Hirsch) is in hock to a drug lord, he needs money quick and stumbles on the scheme of hiring a hit man to dispatch his mother, whose $50,000 life insurance policy is supposed to go to his sister Dottie (Juno Temple). Chris has heard of Joe Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a creepy, crazy Dallas cop who moonlights as a contract killer. Although Joe usually demands cash up front, he finds himself willing to bend the rules and takes Chris’ attractive younger sister, Dottie as carnal collateral. A garish, Southwestern Gothic tale, Killer Joe is a shocking, sexy, and violent black comedy that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
