Lost in Previews: “Ted” Red Band Trailer

I just lost it watching this trailer for Ted.  I am a Seth MacFarlane fan (Family Guy, American Dad) and this is his first feature film.  Seth was at SXSW, and I believe he gave a little preview of the film.  He also provides the voice for the star teddy bear, Ted.  The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Giovanni Ribisi, Patrick Warburton, and Joel McHale.  Mark Wahlberg has done comedy before (The Other Guys), but I think he took it to another level in this trailer.  The thunder song and the white trash names at the end have to be the best parts.  I really hope the film is filled with great laughs and not one of those films where the good ones are all in the trailer.

I got a little confused whether Ted was actually a teddy bear that everyone could see and hear, but it is made perfectly clear at the end that he is indeed all real.

“A story centered on a man and his teddy bear, who comes to life as the result of a childhood wish.”

Ted is in theatres July 13, 2012.

((It is a red band trailer, and the reason for that is language.))
