So there it is. Lollapalooza 2012.

I’m a little, ok not just a little, A LOT disappointed that The Throne isn’t going to be a headliner as well as Radiohead, and I’m also quite irked that Sigur Ros is left to play in the afternoon rather than being given a headlining spot. Hearing those ethereal jams during any other time than dusk into night just won’t feel right. Also Red Hot Chili Peppers might just be one of my least favorite groups of all time. But as long as Jack White is playing on the other end of the field, I’ll be fine.

Not all of the lineup is  bad though. First off, the newly reunited At The Drive In as an actual headliner is a much welcome surprise. Plus The Black Keys and Jack White makes for some great North Field headliners. The mid-card lineup is also really great. M83, Metric, Neon Indian, Washed out, The Black Angels, Bloc Party, and Lost In Reviews favorite Bear In Heaven are all bands I’d love to see. And if Black Sabbath is your thing, well then there’s that too! It is possibly the last time you’ll ever be able to see them live.

But even though, there are quite a few bands that I wanted to see on the lineup that didn’t make it, it still looks like it’ll be a really fun weekend. If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, and plan on going, get them now because it will definitely sell out. If you ARE going, I’ll see you there!

Do you love the lineup, or hate it? Who would you prefer to see play Lollapalooza? Let us know in the comments below!
