Lost in Previews: The Diary of Preston Plummer

There is something about this trailer for The Diary of Preston Plummer that tells me that this is a film that I have to see.  The trailer is really good, with just a simple score in the background and series of pieces from scenes in the film.  Although the trailer does not really say much about what the film deals with, the trailer is enough to pull me in.  The cast includes Trevor Morgan, Rumer Willis, Erin Dilly, Christopher Cousins, and Robert Loggia.  I last saw Trevor Morgan in an excellent film called Brotherhood.  Sean Ackerman wrote and directed the film.

“Preston follows a beautiful but troubled young woman to a small island town where he begins to fall for her, but it all threatens to fall apart when he uncovers her family’s dark past.”

The Diary of Preston Plummer is in theatres May 2, 2012.
