Monsters University is the prequel to Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. Seeing as Pixar’s next film is due out on Friday (Brave), there is usually a teaser for the next film in line. This is a pretty short teaser trailer, but I am glad to see Mike and Sully back on the big screen. There are actually four versions of the teaser trailer. The difference between all four is the line that Mike mutters while he is sleeping. This film is focusing on what Mike and Sully and the rest of the Monsters, Inc. crew did in college learning to be the monsters that can scare the little kids at night. Monsters University features the voices of Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Dave Foley, Julia Sweeney, Joel Murray, and Peter Sohn.
You can access the other three versions of the trailer on Facebook. The trailer below is from Yahoo! Movies.
“Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends. Screaming with laughter and fun, “Monsters University” is directed by Dan Scanlon (“Cars,” “Mater and the Ghostlight,” “Tracy”) and produced by Kori Rae (“Up,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.”).”
Monsters University is in theatres June 21, 2013.
