Animal Collective To Premiere New Album Online This Sunday

If you don’t know who Animal Collective are, google them immediately. But prepare yourself. You’ll either be amazed, or horrified. An extremely divisive band, Animal Collective are an acquired taste, for sure. Their new album Centipede HZ is one of my most anticipated albums of the rest of this year. And lucky for me, and you, the band will be premiering it in full this sunday on their very own internet radio station.

This Sunday, Animal Collective, in partnership with The Creators Project, will premiere and stream their brand new album Centipede HZ on Animal Collective Radio, a Creators Project produced platform, at 9PM EST.

The Creators Project is also featuring behind-the-scenes interviews with the members of the band, explaining the inspiration behind Animal Collective Radio, their mixes, and the release of Centipede HZ.

First up in the interview series, Geologist talks about his unique stream on Animal Collective Radio. Watch the interview here:http://youtu.be/TFd-A3Svt-E

Subsequent interviews will be premiering on The Creators Project Official YouTube Channel throughout next week.

Animal Collective Radio, a partnership with The Creators Project, has broadcast live over the last three weeks featuring shows hosted by Panda Bear, Avey Tare and Deakin. The transmissions also featured a variety of guest DJs sets including Atlas Sound, Haunted Graffiti, Black Dice, Pantha Du Prince as well as brand new solo music by Panda Bear and Avey Tare. Listen back to all transmissions via the band’s archive on MixCloud: mixcloud.com/animalcollectiveradio

Here’s the EXTREMELY weird and VERY Animal Collective video for the band’s first single off of the album titled “Today’s Supernatural”.

Centipede HZ streets on September 4th through Domino Records, avilable in 3 formats:  standard CD,  standard 2xLP, and  deluxe 2xLP version.
