DEFTONES Announce New Album and Fall Tour

Coming out of virtually nowhere, DEFTONES have just announced their new album titled Koi No Yokan, which will be released on November 13th via Relapse Records. It was once again produced by Nick Raskulinecz, who produced their last album, my personal favorite album of 2010, Diamond Eyes. Not only did Chino and the gang announce the new album, they’ve thrown out a fall tour as well! If you’re one of our local Kansas City reader’s you’ll find yourself extremely excited at the opportunity to see them not just once, but two nights in a row, both at small clubs. Godammit, will the DEFTONES ever stop being ridiculously awesome? I say a big hearty Michael Caine “NEVA!

A quick Google search shows that Koi No Yokan means “The sense one can have upon first meeting a person that the two of you are going to fall in love.” How very DEFTONES of them. Below is a video of the band performing a new song from Koi No Yokan titled “Roller Derby”:
