As special release parties happened all over the country on Friday night for the midnight release of The Hunger Games, we had the opportunity to speak with Leven Rambin. She plays Glimmer in The Hunger Games. Glimmer is one of the “evil” or “bad” tributes going against Peeta and Katniss in the game.
This interview happened in the back of a Walmart which lended itself to create a couple of distractions in the interview. The decor for this interview is impeccable, don’t you think? I touched on her experience in making the film and what to expect on the DVD. I also asked her about her future projects which include Chasing Mavericks and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters which she just finished filming a couple of weeks ago. As I run another site devoted to the upcoming film adaptation of The Host, I had to ask a question about one of its stars, Jake Abel, who she worked with in Percy Jackson. Leven also told me she also worked with another The Host star, Boyd Holbrook.
