Lost in Previews: Two New ‘Skyfall’ Trailers

I think just about everyone has seen the part of the Olympics Opening Ceremony where James Bond picks up the Queen to take her to the ceremony.  If you watched the commercials right after that bit, you saw a new TV spot for the new James Bond film, Skyfall.  Just a day or two later, two new trailers came out for the film.  One is the domestic trailer and the other is the international trailer.  I have yet to see any of the more modern Bond films, so you Bond fanatics will have to tell me if this looks good and how it compares to the others.  I do like Daniel Craig as Bond.

The cast for this film includes Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Rory Kinear, Albert Finney, and Judi Dench.  John Logan, Neal Purvis, and Robert Wade wrote the script, and Sam Mendes directed Skyfall.

“Daniel Craig is back as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”

Skyfall is in theatres November 9, 2012.
