Lost in Previews: 3, 2, 1, . . . Frankie Go Boom

This is the first trailer for 3, 2, 1, . . . Frankie Go Boom.  This film played at the South by Southwest Film Festival in March.  I saw it and thought it was pretty funny.  I just think it needed to be shortened a little bit.  The original title was Frankie Go Boom.  I don’t know why they lengthened the title as I doubt anyone will be saying the whole thing in conversation. My original draw to the film was Charlie Hunnam in a comedic role.  He does really well, which you can see in the trailer.  It is funny to see both Sons of Anarchy actors, Charlie Hunnam and Ron Perlman, in a completely different setting and tone as well as Ron in full drag.  The cast includes Charlie Hunnam, Chris O’Dowd, Lizzy Caplan, Nora Dunn, Whitney Cummings, Ron Perlman, and Chris Noth.  Jordan Roberts wrote and directed the film.

“Frank Bartlett (Charlie Hunnam, SONS OF ANARCHY) has been tortured, embarrassed and humiliated by his brother Bruce (Chris O’Dowd, BRIDESMAIDS)–usually on film–his entire life. Now that Bruce is finally off drugs and has turned his life around, things should be different. They are not.”

3, 2, 1, . . . Frankie Go Boom is in theatres October 12, 2o12.
