The inescapable FUN. kick off StePhest Colbchella ’012

FUN. is a band that seems to be everywhere. Besides the fact they’ve played to packed crowds three times in the past year here in Kansas City the band can almost always be heard on the radio with a quick scan and their Glee-approved smash cross over hit “We Are Young” is being broadcast by an FM band somewhere. The group was the first to kick off “StePhest Colbchella ’012″ on the Colbert Report. Here is a look at what was broadcast and a few bonus songs not aired. The lineup for the Rest of  ”StePhest Colbchella ’012″ includes Grizzly Bear, Santigold, The Flaming Lips and Grandmaster Flash.

Here is the groups interview with Stephen Colbert.

John Coovert

About John Coovert

John was fortunate enough to be born in one of the most magical times of cinema: the eighties. Having an ultra cool aunt that introduced him to awesome sci-fi (Alien, Aliens, Terminator, Predator) and horror (Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Jaws) on VHS, and a cool mom that took him to the theater to see films like Back to the Future, Return of the Jedi, and Goonies, it's no wonder he fell in love with one of the finest forms of escapist entertainment, film. John continues to appreciate all forms of film, actively seeking out information and discussing it with all who will listen.
