In all of the interviews I have ever done for Lost in Reviews, I have never been a part of a round table interview that lasted forty minutes. This is exactly what happened when I and other journalists interviewed Stephen Chbosky, the author, screenwriter, and director of The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Stephen is extremely passionate about this project. Rightly so, because it all originated from the story he wrote and it is partially taken from his life. Stephen discussed many things about the film and his book during this interview and was happy to continue to do so for the lengthy interview. Just about every element was touched on during the interview. I am thankful to have been a part of the interview, meeting this passionate man who created such a great book and powerful film.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is in theatres September 28, 2012.
