Lost in Previews: ‘Mama’ Trailer 2

This is the second trailer for the super creepy film, Mama.  At the beginning, there is not much difference between this trailer and the first one.  It is not until you get towards the end do you get more of a look at whatever this thing is that the kids are calling Mama.  Still creeped out by this film, but it still looks interesting enough to possibly risk a night of sleep to see it.  I hope it is one of those good scary flicks, not the kind that turn into some lame attempt at a story with deliberate scares.

The cast of Mama includes Jessica Chastain (The Help), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones), Megan Charpentier, and Isabelle Nellsse.  Andy Muschietti directed Mama and Guillermo del Toro is one of the producers.

“Guillermo del Toro presents Mama, a supernatural thriller that tells the haunting tale of two little girls who disappeared into the woods the day that their parents were killed. When they are rescued years later and begin a new life, they find that someone or something still wants to come tuck them in at night.”

Mama is in theatres January 18, 2013.
