We witnessed our first presidential debate last night, so I think it is fitting that the trailer for Broken City came out today. It is the story of a corrupt mayor and a former cop who gets roped into a scheme and then blackmailed. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Russell Crowe, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Natalie Martinez, Jeffrey Wright, Kyle Chandler, Barry Pepper, and Justin Chambers. Allen Hughes (From Hell, The Book of Eli) directed and Brian Tucker (a newcomer) wrote the screenplay.
