The second trailer for Django Unchained came online today, and even though it is only a few seconds longer than the first trailer, we get to see a lot more of the film. This is the first time we see Samuel L. Jackson and Jonah Hill in character. I think Leonardo DiCaprio’s character is the one I like the most. Maybe it is because we don’t see Leo do comedy very often. There is also more comedy in this trailer compared to the first. The film stars Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jonah Hill. Quentin Tarantino wrote and directed the film.
“Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award(R)-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award(R)-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles–dead or alive.”
Django Unchained is in theatres December 25, 2012. Because nothing says Christmas like slavery and gore.
