How To Destroy Angels announce debut album “Welcome Oblivion”

How-to-Destroy-Angels

We here at LiR are tremendous fans of Trent Reznor, and have been waiting anxiously for his new musical endeavor How To Destroy Angels. We’ve been given two short EPs from the project over the past 2 years, but are finally being given the full length album. It feels good. It’s been a long wait which has seen multiple little Reznors spawned, an Academy Awards victory, and a weird picture of himself at a haunted house.

The new single, “How Long” is an awesomely strange track, as it’s pretty much the closest thing to a straight up pop song that we’ll ever see from Trent & Co. Is that even a bit of Auto-Tune that I hear? Next thing you know, Trent will be producing the next Katy Perry album! I KID, I KID!

Welcome Oblivion will be released on March 5, via Columbia Records and will be available digitally as well as on CD and on Vinyl. The vinyl release will feature a different tracklisting and two bonus tracks exclusive to that format.

Below, check out the video for the new single “How Long”, followed by the track listing for both CD/Digital and Vinyl releases of Welcome Oblivion.
