The third trailer for Man of Steel came online tonight, and this gives us our best look at the film, including more of the story and the settings along with more action scenes. I am still really excited for this one, but I don’t like the music used in this trailer. Compared to the second trailer, this one lacks some emotion and buildup, which the second trailer had. The music just does not fit. Other than that, it looks great. Russell Crowe looks particularly awesome as Jor-El, while Michael Shannon’s head looks too small for his costume.
Are we not doing the whole newspaper job thing in this one?
Update: The music is a track from the score by Hans Zimmer.
Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Russell Crowe, Harry Lennix, and Christopher Meloni. Zack Snyder directed and David S. Goyer wrote the screenplay based on a story by Goyer and Christopher Nolan.
“Next summer, “Man of Steel” is coming to the big screen. The film is from director Zack Snyder and producers Charles Roven, Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and Deborah Snyder. The screenplay was written by David S. Goyer from a story by Goyer & Nolan, based upon Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster and published by DC Comics.”
