After appearing in last year’s Silver Linings Playbook Chris Tucker has signed on to the comedy Second Honeymoon.  This will be Tucker’s 2nd movie in the past 5 years.

It has finely been determined that British actress Carey Mulligan has passed on the role of Hillary Rodham Clinton in biopic Rodham.   As of now there have been no further announcement’s regarding possible replacements.

The video game Assassin’s Creed is coming to the big screen.  Currently Michael Fassbender is attached to the film and producer Frank Marshall is in talks to produce the film.  Currently the release date for the upcoming film is May 2015.

As of this writing Man of Steel has made $132 million since it opened on June 14th.  It’s current Rotten Tomatoes score from critics is 57% with an audience rating of 82%.

In just a few short days the Veronica Mars movie has expanded by leaps and bounds. Joining the cast are Krysten Ritter, Ryan Hansen, Kevin Sheridan, Brandon Hillock, Jonathan Chesner, Amanda Noret, Sam Huntington, and Tina Majorino.  Filming begins on June 17th.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy cast just keeps getting more diverse with the additions of Benicio Del Toro, Glenn Close, and now John C. Reilly.  Filming begins this month and is scheduled to be released on August 1st, 2014.

The directed by and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt film Don Jon has moved up it’s release date to September 27th, 2013.  Don Jon also stars Tony Danza, Scarlett Johansson, and Julianne Moore.
