Lolla 2013 Preview: Atlas Genius, Ghost B.C. and San Cisco

Every once in a while, a festival like Lollapalooza throws a wrench in the schedule, maybe to attract a new crowd, maybe to see if we’re paying attention. This year, that wrench is Ghost. Ghost (also known as Ghost B.C. in the U.S.) is a Swedish heavy metal band, formed in Linköping in 2008. Ghost are easily recognizable due to their eccentric on-stage presence, five of the group’s six members wear hooded robes, while the vocalist appears in a skull mask and a cardinal outfit, and highly secretive nature of their identities, with the members being referred to as “Nameless Ghouls”. Musically, the band is often compared to groups such as Black Sabbath, Blue Öyster Cult, Mercyful Fate, andWitchfinder General.

Be sure to check out the other two bands mentioned here: Atlas Genius and San Cisco, both traveling from the land down under and worth a listen!

Atlas Genius, Ghost B.C. and San Cisco will be performing at this year’s Lollapalooza in Chicago. See below for more info and set times and let us know if you’re interested in setting anything up on site.
