Lolla 2013 Preview: Houndmouth

Forecastle Check out this photo of Louisville breakout group Houndmouth playing in front of thousands on Forecastle Fest’s main stage – an eleventh-hour upgrade due to popular demand. “With Houndmouth’s quick rise to fame also came an energetic crowd busting at the seams to cheer on their hometown band,” said Consequence of Sound. “A great set…with Houndmouth proving they deserved to be on the main stage at a major music festival.”

Paste wrote: “Houndmouth managed to draw out the first big crowd. I found myself definitely catching Houndmouth fever.” And American Songwriter took that top shot on the right.

Next up on the Rough Trade breakout’s summer docket: Newport Folk Festival this weekend, Lollapalooza next weekend (plus a sold out Heartless Bastards aftershow), then Outside Lands and Austin City Limits.

Be sure to check out Houndmouth at Lollapalooza, Friday August 2nd, on the BMI stage at 3:20 pm.
