Favorite Movies: To pick favorite movies is sometimes like picking a favorite child. There are so many good ones, so I am basing this on movies that I can watch over and over again. Moulin Rouge, Fight Club, Secretary, The Big Lebowski, The Darjeeling Limited, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Lost in Translation, Bruce Campbell vs. The Army of Darkness, The Fall, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Burn After Reading, (500) Days of Summer, Jerry Maguire, The Brothers Bloom, All The President’s Men, The Devil Wears Prada, High Fidelity, Say Anything, Slumdog Millionaire, The Breakfast Club, Almost Famous, The Departed, Casino, Drag Me to Hell, West Side Story, Spirited Away, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Lilo and Stitch, Akira, Inglourious Basterds, LOTR trilogy, In Bruges, The Wrestler, Apocalypse Now, Taken, American Psycho.
Favorite Movie No One Will Ever See: Well there are a couple of newer ones: The Brothers Bloom and Moon. Some older ones are Dancer in the Dark, Altered States, Amelie, Love me if you dare, Pi, Strictly Ballroom, and Pootie Tang.
Favorite Video Games: Well since I am not much of a “gamer” I will judge this on Favorite games I enjoy watching others play. Such as Kingdom Hearts on the PS2, it was so nostalgic seeing Mickey and Minnie and trying to find all of the missing dalmatians. I also really love watching Mirror’s Edge on Xbox 360, The colors will warp your mind and after watching this game for a few hours (and even playing a few rounds myself) you start seeing things in the real world you want to jump on. I also still enjoy rocking out on some Rockband on 360 occasionally, always a good way to pass the time.
Favorite TV Shows: My favorite shows come in seasons. So, sometimes it’s Dexter, United States of Tara and Bill Maher. Then sometimes it’s Entourage, Mad Men and True Blood. I also love Curb your Enthusiasm, and Big Love. I also love any travel show with Samantha Brown. I have one ALL TIME favorite that sadly, will be ending next year, LOST. Nothing can beat conspiracy, love triangles, tropical islands and “the others”, but AMC’s Breaking Bad might just be the show to take its place after they are off the air, Amazing show.
Favorite Concerts: Any Nine Inch Nails show, specifically the Lights in the Sky Tour and the last time I saw them for their Wave Goodbye tour, truly epic, all of them. I was also fortunate enough to see Radiohead live finally, another favorite band for me. As for smaller shows and bands seen live, it always depends on the atmosphere and the feeling I leave with.
Favorite Travel Spot: I will travel anywhere there is not currently a war being carried out, I mean anywhere. Where I prefer is some place warm and close to the ocean. I loved my last trip to Florida where there really was no agenda and we just moseyed along the beach one day then found a little local Cuban restaurant at night and listened to the locals talking. I’m an explorer and sometimes it can annoy the people I am with as I am dragging them out of bed to go see the next cool thing, but sometimes, its great just to relax. My goal is to have traveled the world before I get too old to enjoy it.
